NEW OLD STOCK!That means these Cups are brand new, but have been in storage for a number of years. They are long off the market, but we found a few to offer you!
Some magicians prefer copper color cups for their Cups and Balls and Chop Cups routines. They believe that the copper color better hides any "flashes" from the red balls that they use.
The Chop Cup is the classic Cups and Balls effect using just one cup and one ball!
The ball can be made to magically jump from the hand to the pocket and back again, and so much more. A great routine can climax with the production of a large piece of fruit - or a larger ball- from under the cup! (See our Finale Balls available below)So many effects are possible.
Sorry- to keep the price of this item down, the larger red ball is no longer included. But you can easily find a ball at a toy store or a dollar store. Or see our selection of Finale Balls available below!
This cup is specially constructed for optimum balance and handling. For more detailed instruction and routines, see the Chop Cup Book.
Replacement or extra balls are available below. Our Closeup Pads make a nice performance surface. And a Magician's Wand helps in the performance of certain routines.
WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD. Do not put the balls in your mouth. Not suitable for children under 5 years of age.We are calling these cups COPPER because of their COLOR.We make no guarantee that they are actually made of copper.
Chop Cup is about 3.5" tall, 2.5" mouth diameter. Made of copper color metal.Knit balls are about 1" size. One is gimmicked with a metal shim inside. The ball is NOT magnetized- the metal inside allows it to stick to a magnet. The other one is regular.
Produce an even LARGER ball at the end of your routine. Larger balls are easy to find at any toy store or dollar store. It makes for a big surprise!
The Chop Cup was invented in 1954 by Al Wheatly, who performed professionally as "Chop Chop".
