Clever and very different!
With a bit of imagination, this effect could become the centerpiece of your show! There is a LOT of comedy potential here!
The basic idea is that you, the magician, display a very special glass, in fact a FLAT glass on a backboard. The glass is empty. But whenever you command, the glass appears to be full of a beverage!Even better, again at your command- THE GLASS VISIBLY AND SLOWLY EMPTIES AGAIN, as if someone is drinking the beverage!
You can play it as a straight magic trick- a glass that mysteriously fills and empties by itself.Or you can use it as a participation trick- ask your spectator to pretend to drink the beverage from a distance, and sure enough, the beverage disappears!Or you could make a running gag out of it- whenever you cover the glass, the beverage reappears, only to vanish in full view of the audience, again and again.
Made of very stiff cardstock, and with a protective plastic film over the front, this is a well made piece of equipment for the price. It is easy to operate- if you can hold the card, you can do the trick! And Peter Monticup shares his technique and tips in our exclusive ONLINE VIDEO instruction.
