We don't know the maker on this, but it is definitely from the 1940's or 1950's.We can't find another for sale.
This is a clever idea that makes a routine out of the Snake Can gag.You start by placing something inside the canister, like some silk scarves.You tell your audience that you are going to change the scarves into something fabulous.When you open the canister again- out flies the Spring Snake!
That is a very simple routine, but you are sure to come up with some other ideas when you use your imagination.
Be aware that this item shows some wear.But the CLOTH covering on the spring snake shows that it is vintage, and of a lot better quality than the plastic covered spring snakes made today.
