Real Mexican Centavo Coin

This is an authentic Mexican centavo coin you can use to replace those that are used in Scotch and Soda sets and other tricks, or to use in making your own coin routines.

Mexico stopped minting centavo coins in 1973.
Until a few years ago, centavos were still very easy to acquire, and were very inexpensive.
They are harder to get today, but are still in demand for use in coin magic effects.
So we searched and found an affordable source for REAL circulated centavos!
These centavo coins are made of matte bronze color metal and are just a tad smaller in diameter as a U.S. half dollar.
These ARE real currency.

The difference between this real centavo coin and the replica centavo style coins we also sell at MagicTricks.com:

• real centavos are matte bronze in color; replica centavos are bright shiny copper color
• real centavos are about 1/3 thicker than the replica coins
• the real coins are slightly heavier than the replica coins
• the real coins and the replica coins are the same diameter
