The CARD DUCK is a totally captivating magical comedy routine that's enjoyed by children and adults alike! Great for stage work, but can also be performed in close quarters, and surrounded. And it's easy- even if you've never done magic before!
Let a spectator choose a card from the deck by removing it, looking at it, and replacing it into the deck. Introduce the magical card duck, who has "special powers". Apparently, the duck can instantly find the chosen card, even though the card is buried in the deck! Place the deck in the card holder in front of the duck, and suddenly the duck springs forward, puts her beak on the deck, and springs back with the selected card firmly gripped in her bill!
This is a time tested favorite that gets a great reaction every time!
And you'll get TWO MagicTricks.com Exclusive Bonuses!
Guaranteed First Quality! Peter Monticup says- BEWARE OF CHEAPER MODELS! The Card Duck needs to work correctly every time for you. Other models are not made with this kind of precision, and will often fail to pick the card out of the box, forcing you to try and try again to make it work- during your show! Avoid embarrassment! This particular Card Duck is built with the best craftsmanship, so it works correctly. It's the model that Peter Monticup uses in his own shows. He won't use any other model, and he won't sell any other model to you! Watch the entire demo video above to see the helpful tips Monticup shares at the end!

If you are performing card tricks for children, you might use the Alphabet Card Deck cards, which have the letters of the alphabet in bold print on the faces, rather than the regular card suits. Children may not know one playing card from another, but they certainly know the alphabet!
Play up the comedy! Your duck behaves badly- when you aren’t looking, he keeps picking up cards and throwing them on the floor. The kids will go crazy trying to tell you what is happening. This makes a great running gag. Then you can finish with the Duck finally picking the correct card!
Here is a FREE video lesson to teach you an EASY way to force a card, called the Cross Cut Force. Use this force anytime you need to control the selection of a card- it fools them every time! For this trick, you'll need to "force" a card on your spectator. In other words, you need to make it seem like he has a free choice, but really you are making him take the card that you need him to take. There are many ways to force a card, including the Cross Cut Force. We also carry several books and DVDs to teach you the different methods.
Magician and magic dealer L.L. Ireland developed and marketed the first commercially successful version of the Card Duck.
