Boomerang Cats - Includes Video Instructions

If you think you know how boomerang puzzles work- THINK AGAIN!
This one has a surprise ending that will KNOCK YOUR SOCKS OFF!

Basically a fascinating optical illusion puzzle, this one has an extra "kick".

The effect is this:
You have two cards shaped like boomerangs and decorated with cartoon cats.
Placed on a table, one above the other, the cats appear to be the same length.
First you "stretch" one cat and place it on the table next to the other cat, showing that it is now bigger.
Then you "shrink" the cat back down, place it on the table and show that both cats are the same size.
You take the other cat, "shrink" him down, and now he is smaller than the other cat.

Pretty amazing, right??
Well, for those of you familiar with the boomerang type puzzle trick, you know that the boomerangs are actually the same size, and the effect is created by optical illusion.

HERE IS WHERE THIS TRICK IS REALLY DIFFERENT AND AMAZING!
You have a third card, a yellow ruler.
You use it to measure the cats.
Sure enough, one cat IS SMALLER and the other IS LONGER!
You can even end the trick by placing one cat on top of the other- YES, they are DIFFERENT LENGTHS!

The idea behind this clever little pocket puzzle has been around for over 1000 years!
Very popular even as a cereal box prize in the 1950s, it has been a favorite of kids and adults alike.

This clever mystery is POCKET size, too!
Carry it with you in a jacket pocket and be ready to amaze and impress at a moment's notice!

Great party favor, whether the guests are children or adults!

And great for the classroom- teaches spatial relations, optical illusion and the effect of color on perception!
