Quick and easy clever card routine!
Start by removing a deck of cards from the box. It is quickly seen that the cards are all blank, on both sides. You point out that if your spectator simply picks a card, they all look the same, and that wouldn't make for a very good trick! So you ask your spectator to NAME any card. In this case, Dirk named the Six of Diamonds. Start thumbing through the cards, and one card becomes visible in the blank deck. Of course- it's the card the spectator named!
