Another great variation of the The Hot Rod paddle!
Follow the arrow!
Start by showing a solid black rod on both sides. At your command, a white arrow appears on one end of the rod, pointing toward you. With a wave of the hand, the arrow moves to the MIDDLE of the rod. Point the arrow toward the spectator, make another wave, and the arrow jumps to the other end of the rod, toward the spectator. Now you put the arrow in reverse, and it pops back to the middle of the rod, pointing toward the spectator. Point the arrow toward yourself, make another wave, and the arrow, still in reverse, jumps to the end of the rod closest to the spectator, still pointing toward you. Now you put the arrow in forward, and it pops back to the middle of the rod, pointing toward you. Point the arrow toward the spectator, make another wave, and the arrow, jumps to the end of the rod closest to the spectator, still pointing toward the spectator. Now you "turn the rod off", and - the arrow has VANISHED!
