This clever gimmicked coin was designed by Forest Verne Chesbro, a well-known mid-20th century American magician, and was manufactured and sold exclusively by Abbott's Magic in the 1960s.
DESCRIPTION FROM THE MANUFACTURER: The gimmick coin is a special piece of apparatus as pictured which is designed to simplify the continuous backhand palm. The coin has an extension fixed to the back of the coin, both painted a neutral color. The extension is gripped between the fingers.Thus, the coin can be held in an open hand, giving the illusion that you are producing coin after coin. The half dollar size coin is made from an authentic Abbotts palming coin.
