Very rare effect circa early 1940s!We couldn't find another one available on the Internet. We purchased this from the estate of a magician who purchased this when it was new.
Original vintage Abbott's trick!
The routine:A "full" bottle of Coke is shown, and placed in an empty paper bag.The cap is placed on the bottle, the bag is closed over the bottle, and it is handed to the spectator to hold.Next, a silk is displayed. You declare that you will make the silk magically and invisibly pass from your hand into the glass bottle- without the silk getting wet.You make the silk vanish in your favorite manner. You then take the bag back from the spectator and remove the glass bottle. The silk is indeed inside the clear bottle!
The real value of this item is in its collectibility.Yes, we think it does work (though due to preserving its condition, we did not try it out). But it is much better as a vintage piece of magic, and makes a wonderful display, with the original typed instructions, on your magic shelf!
CONDITION: very good. Looks barely used, especially for its age.Coke bottle is VERY VERY thick glass, because it is made with a real Coke bottle circa 1940!Bottle is about 8" tall.
