RARE and VERY HARD TO FINDFrom the collection of a retired professional magician.
Made with a real 45rpm record! Now THAT tells you how old this trick is!
The magician places a silk through the hole in a cardboard record case.He then takes a 45rpm vinyl record, and pushes it into the case as well. When the case is opened, the silk is now THROUGH the hole in the 45rpm record!
This is a real collector's item!WE HAVE ONLY SEEN THIS TRICK ONCE BEFORE- and that was over 50 years ago!It appears to be a handmade item, but more likely it was a limited run item made and distributed by a magic dealer in the 1960s.
An interesting tidbit:The record used to make this trick is "The Christmas Holiday" by The Blackwells. The Blackwells were a 60s male Merseybeat group who were the resident performers at the Peppermint Lounge in Liverpool’s city center for a few years in the early 1960s. They had dyed hair and skin-tight leather outfits and were known as "the blond bombshells".
CONDITION: good. The trick works perfectly. The paper of the record case and the paper on the record label show wear and age discoloration. You get the EXACT items you see in the photo.
