The effect goes like this:Take two same-color silk handkerchiefs and tie them together at the corner. Take a different color silk handkerchief and vanish it. Hold the two tied silks and pull on them- the other color silk is now tied IN BETWEEN them!

You will need a method to vanish the silk that ends up in the middle. A Change Bag is a good choice for vanishing the silk, with no skill necessary.Handkerchiefs are silk and measure 18" diagonally.Color- red and yellow silks.Material- rayon
You can do this trick without using a volunteer. Tie the two same-color silks together, and then place them in a clear vase so the audience can see them at all times, but you are not touching them. Vanish the other color silk, then lift the two tied silks from the vase, pull them and you will produce the odd-color silk tied between them.
