A very different- and fun!- mindreading effect that you can do with NO SKILL NECESSARY!
Start with a large black vinyl envelope, inside which is a picture of a Voodoo figure. Let your spectators know that you have made a prediction on the picture- you've marked an X on the picture where you think a spectator will stick a pin in the real Voodoo doll. With the prediction envelope in full view, you let a spectator FREELY CHOOSE where to stick the pin into the stuffed Voodoo doll. After the spectator makes his choice, you slide the picture out of the envelope, and indeed, there is an X on the picture in the SAME spot where the pin was stuck into the doll!
Really, really easy to do! Yet it seems IMPOSSIBLE!
You can take this routine anywhere you want it to go. Play it seriously or play it for the comedy effect! Best of all, you can present it to a large audience and they'll be able to see what you are doing!
You can also change the presentation to meet your needs. You may choose to allow the spectator to put FOUR pins into the doll, leaving one area unharmed. The prediction picture will show FOUR Xs, with no X on the same spot that the spectator left unharmed.
