Scaling card featuring magician Howard Thurston. Like Alexander Herrmann before him, Thurston made the art of scaling (or throwing) playing cards into the audience a featured part of his act. This card was specially printed to be used as a scaled souvenir. It features Thurston on one side and his daughter, Jane, on the other. 

Card dates from the 1930's.
