Go PRO! Make a great trick even better!

The Stiff Rope PRO is made for YOU- the serious magician who loves the Stiff Rope effect but would appreciate a more vibrant and smoother working piece of magical equipment. The Stiff Rope PRO stands straighter and is a bit more forgiving in terms of how you have to hold it than the regular Stiff Rope.

And what a great effect! Hold this length of rope at the middle. The rope hangs limp- until with a simple twist of your wrist, you make the rope stand straight out and stiff! Then, at your command and under your complete control- the rope goes limp again!

This startling effect can be repeated immediately, can be done surrounded and can be performed right under the noses of the spectators. It's eerie!!

The Stiff Rope PRO is about 3.5 feet long, made of RED cotton rope covering a flexible spine.
PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS before playing with the rope, or you could damage the spine.

History and Trivia:
Magician Wesley Whitehouse introduced the concept of this trick.

Performance Ideas:

Demonstrate your "hypnotic powers" by pretending to hypnotize the rope. Command the rope to stay stiff and straight- and it does!

This is a great effect for a Halloween show. The rope can appear to have a spirit inside, that can levitate and suspend the rope.

Here's what you'll get:

  • Stiff Rope PRO Model- Red
  • printed instructions

And that's all you need!

Great for kids
I think if you were to do this routine with adults it would be easily realized what the gimmick is. But kids absolutely love it. This is one of my go to routines with children under 8 years old.
