Yay! This one is finally available again!
An incredibly easy and deceptive way to vanish a dove, with no assistant needed! Safe for the bird, and even keeps the bird confined and secure after the vanish. Perfect for outdoor situations!
The Dagger Vanish Box shows up well at a distance, and has a wonderful "now you see it, now you don't" feature. Simply place a dove into the box. Your audience can see the bird through the cutout holes in the box. Slide a panel into the box to hide the bird. Gently push the wooden blade into the side of the box, as if you are pushing the blade right through the bird. Then, holding just the blade, slowly turn the box upside down- the bird has vanished!
This ingenius box is specially made to safely hold a dove. You can do this one with or without an assistant, and it is very simple to do.
Comes with beautifully made brightly painted wooden box, wood panel, wood blade and printed instructions. Box is 10" x 8" x 6".
Use a small live dove, or use a rubber dove like the one we sell here (see below). You can even use a small stuffed animal, like Peter Monticup uses in the demo video.A Spring Animal Puppet (like Tricky Fox or Raccoon) WILL NOT FIT.
If you do use a live animal, please do not leave your animal confined in this box or any other box for more than a few minutes.

This is one of the first "big" tricks I bought when I was first performing magic for larger crowds. Many times I did not have an assistant with me (my sister wasn't always available!) so this box came in very handy. It holds up really well, too- my Dagger Livestock Vanish is more than 40 years old, and I still use it. I'm glad that a quality made version is available again!
