Protect your investment!
How about a clever and sturdy piece of magic equipment that not only protects your valuable card decks, but also lets you perform two different and amazing mindreading effects? That's exactly what the Prediction Card Guard can do for you!
This attractive stainless steel case is specifically designed to guard your card deck from excessive wear and tear, saving you lots of money in replacement decks, and keeping your favorite working decks in top order.
Best of all, the case is imprinted with special designs on the front, back and along the narrow edge. These imprints serve an ingenious purpose: the front design is an innocent 4 Aces pattern, establishing that the Card Guard is merely a fancy card case. The back and side designs, however, are actually imprints of specific cards, allowing you to use the designs as predictions for two amazing card mentalism effects.
The Cardworker's Icebreaker Effect: Remove your deck of cards from the Card Guard, and lay the Guard on the table. Your spectator selects a card and you shuffle it back into the deck. You attempt to find this selected card, but apparently have difficulty locating the card. But when you pick up the Card Guard to put your deck away- the chosen card is imprinted into the metal case!
The Mentalist's Dream Effect: You tell your spectators that you can predict which card will be chosen from the deck, and you've hidden your prediction. Next, remove your card deck from the Card Guard, and let a spectator choose a card. The card is shown to everyone but you. After the chosen card is replaced into the deck, you put the deck back into the Card Guard. Ask the spectator which card was chosen, and he will say "King of Diamonds". You assure your spectators that you knew that would be the chosen card, and to prove your prediction, you let a spectator read what is imprinted into the metal side of the Guard. It says "You will select the King of Diamonds"!
Of course, you will need to know how to force a card to perform the two effects. You can learn this very useful skill through the Forcing a Card DVD.
