in our Magicians' Directory, we may contact you periodically to verify

The only
way you can receive our newsletter with special sales notices and
offers is to sign up for it yourself using the sign up found here.
We use the Topica.com service, which does not allow us to
sign up anybody to our own mailing list. This guarantees that only
people who want the newsletter are on our list, because they had to
sign themselves up. And anyone who signs up for our newsletter can
unsubscribe themselves at any time (instructions appear at the bottom of each
newsletter). You will NOT receive any
unsolicited email, regular mail or calls from us. |
We do not use, nor do we condone the use of unsolicited
bulk email. We take this issue very seriously.
If you have received SPAM that appears to have come from our
MAGICTRICKS.COM domain, please report the
incident to us immediately. We will give you a prompt and personal
reply. We will also investigate and actively prosecute any bulk
emailer who has spoofed our system and who is, without our knowledge
or consent, using our domain to send SPAM to you. |
Our secure server software
encrypts all of your personal information including credit card number, name, and address,
so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet. We also take every
precaution to protect your information once we receive it. In the unlikely event of
unauthorized use of your credit card, most banks either cover all the charges that result
from the unauthorized use or may limit your liability to just $50. If you still have
concerns about submitting sensitive information to us over the Internet, please place your

All orders placed through
our shopping cart system are done through the use of temporary cookies. All shopping cart
systems work this way. Our system does not store cookies. Once you have completed your
order, tracking stops.
If you place an ad on our
Classified Ads page, your IP address is recorded. We use a system provided by Bravenet
Services; the IP addresses are recorded to prevent abuse of the free posting service. |
We strongly recommend
placing your order using the secure shopping cart, or through our toll-free number. If
you choose to send your credit card number to us using the unsecured email order form, or
your own email message, or a fax, and if you are concerned about security, we recommend
sending the credit card number in two separate emails or faxes (the first email or fax
containing the first two sets of numbers, and the second email or fax containing the
second two sets of numbers plus the expiration date). |
