No matter WHICH way the misprinted silk is held, the letters are still wonky! But magically, the brain can still read them!
Your brain works in magical ways, so when you look at this mismade silk, you can read what it is supposed to say, even if some of the letters are backwards or upside down. When you turn the silk, the words are readable, but obviously misprinted. And every time you turn the silk to correct the word, it's still misprinted, but in a different way. The magical part is that the mismade silk can be turned FOUR different ways (front, back, upside down front side, upside down back side) and the words can still be "read"!
WHAT'S NEW- now you'll also get a correct "Thank You" silk! This is a SET of TWO silks!
These are quality made silks by Goshman. Each measures approximately 18" diagonally.
You supply the Change Bag or other switching prop.
How can you use this silk set? At the end of your routine, produce the misprinted silk and say "Thank You!" You'll get laughter as the audience realizes the letters are jumbled. Kids especially like to point out that something is wrong. As you turn the silk again and again, the audience reaction gets bigger as you "can't seem to get it right". You can end by saying "OK- let me just SAY Thank You!" or you can use a Change Bag or other prop to turn the misprinted silk into the correct one. This silk is also funny when used by an assistant you've chosen from the audience. Let him show the silk to say Thank You at the end of the routine you've done with him. Instruct him to turn it, and turn it again. Finally, let him pull out another Thank You silk, this time a proper one (like the kind we sell below). If you have an assistant hold the misprinted silk, make sure you end the routine with something positive. Never make your assistant look foolish- always make him look like a star by the end of the routine! A great way to do this is to let him place the misprinted silk into a Change Bag and make the magic gesture to turn the silk into the correct one. Great for teachers, too- what a fun way to teach a spelling lesson!
When you produce your silks, you want them to "pop" up out of the production box or change bag like a Kleenex, so you can grab the next one easily, quickly and smoothly. Here is a FREE lesson to teach you Monticup's personal technique for correctly loading your silks so that it works every time!
