As invisible as it gets- with stretch!

This is a 75 INCH length of "clear" microfine elastic thread.

You can use this nearly invisible elastic thread to make your own trick, or to replace the thread that is used in the Rising Card deck.

This quality thread stretches up to 6 times its original length! It has been manufactured with a clear matte finish to minimize "flash". Amazingly strong!

The thread comes wrapped around a cardboard holder so that it remains fresh, tangle free and ready for use.

Does NOT come with instructions. This is just a pack of microfine elastic thread, for those magicians who want to buy just the thread and who know what to do with it.

Here's what you'll get:

  • about 75 inches of Microfine Elastic Thread
  • NO instructions

Thread only. You supply the trick or routine.

Now that''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''s stretchy!
Best microfine elastic thread I''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''ve found. I use it to make my own gaffed card tricks. I have bought similar thread elsewhere- from other magic shops, from craft stores, etc.- but this is definitely the best I''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''ve found. I read the previous review, and NO it is NOT invisible! If you know what microfine elastic thread is, and what it does, you know that it is not meant to be invisible nor does it have to be. It IS pretty darn hard to see though!

I just got this today, and I kid you not it looks just like fishing line. This is NOT ANYWHERE NEAR invisible. It is so blatantly obvious that I had to just throw it away. It''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''s possibly the worst excuse for "invisible thread" pay the few extra bucks and get some real good quality kind. MagicTricks.com says: Sorry you were confused by this item, and sorry you threw it away before asking us about it. This item, Microfine Elastic Thread, is NOT "Invisible Thread". This item is fine elastic thread, to be used when you need a thread with some "spring" to it. It is a clear whitish color, similar to a very fine fishing line, but made of elastic. It is used in certain card and closeup effects. If you are looking for "invisible thread" we sell it either on a reel (see THREAD GENIE) or wrapped on a card (see INVISIBLE THREAD- UNSTRIPPED). Either way, the "invisible thread" sold here is indeed nearly invisible.

Great thread...
This probably goes without saying, but I will repeat...This is "microfine" elastic thread. This IS NOT "invisible" elastic thread (IET). There is a difference. Respectfully, if you're new to magic, pay attention when ordering to avoid confusion. You/us "old timers" already know better. Some have even made the mistake before...Aha,the blessings of experience...haha Nonetheless, depending on how much it's stretched, it can be difficult to see which is an advantage. However, the reasons I use this for gimmicked cards, and "flippers" is it's "springiness" (is that a word? spellcheck says so...O.K.!). With normal use and wear, all tricks will need to be repaired at some point. This product will resolve most of your elastic thread issues. In closing, don't forget - this thread is very versatile, Part of the great enjoyment of magic is being able to come up with new ideas/tricks or to improve on an existing technique/presentation. Try it with this thread. You may surprise yourself! Best wishes...
