Madame Debora Sapphirra was the stage name of the African American actress who played the part of the psychic mindreader in Black Herman's show.

She travelled with Black Herman from the late 1920's into the early 1930's. By having a mindreader in the act, Black Herman was able to use the stage psychic's tricks to gain personal information about audience members, information he would later "reveal" as proof of his powers.

Madame was not performing in the Black Herman show at the time of Black Herman's death in 1934.

Madame's stage name was pronounced De-BOR-ah Sa-FIRE-ah.
