An easy mindreading trick that uses pictures of animals!
Here's how it goes: Show your spectator a set of seven cards, each with a photo of an animal on it. There is a lion, a fox, a tiger, a monkey, an elephant, a giraffe and a crocodile. While your back is turned, the spectator secretly chooses one of the animals, then silently spells out the name of that animal, moving one card from the top to the bottom of the pack for each letter in the animal's name. The cards are then placed into your hands, still behind your back. Within seconds, you are able to "read his mind" and tell him which animal he chose!
And it is so easy to do! Makes a great trick to perform for children (especially if you use Peter's "cheat sheet" tip below). Great way to teach spelling in the home or school classroom. And it's a very visual and quick trick that is enjoyed by adults as well!
