Mysterious Alma was an illusionist
who performed as "Alma", "Pang Sue Foon" (an Oriental
character) and "Pharos" (an Egyptian character). He
performed with his wife, Rose, from about 1900 until 1912 he
performed with his wife, Rose, leaving both her and their act in
1913. He became a U.S. citizen in 1920,
and performed over 2,000 shows for the USO during WWII.
The Mysterious Alma
was the father of Will
Alma.
