S. S. ADAMS
(1869-1963)
Born: Denmark
Real Name: Soren Sorenson Adams
Sam Adams founded S.S. Adams Magic Manufacturing in 1906, which today still produces a large variety of inexpensive and easy to perform pocket magic tricks. He invented over 650 joke shop items, including Sneeze Powder, the Dribble Glass, the Snake Can and the Joy Buzzer.

The S.S. Adams Co. not only created a number of terrific joke and magic items, but also absorbed the DeLand company in 1918 as well as Traub's Fun Inc. in 1949.

See The Jumping Snakes of S.S. Adams for more information and photos.
