A classic of magic with a borrowed and signed dollar bill!
Let your spectator take out his own dollar bill and sign it. The bill goes under the special black cloth which the spectator holds. The spectator also holds onto a padlocked brass tube. When the cloth is whisked away- the bill has vanished! And the signed bill is found- you guessed it!- inside the LOCKED tube that the spectator has been holding all along!
You supply the bill to put into the tube.
You could also use a signed piece of paper instead of a dollar bill.Make this into a super routine using the Thread Genie to make the dollar bill float first before vanishing it.Consider using this Bill Tube to make a borrowed bill reappear after you have vanished it using another trick like the Thumb Tip.
Famous magician and mystery writer Walter Gibson invented one version of the Bill Tube.
